SAN FRANCISCO (KMJ) — A Northern California start-up is trying to reduce your health-care bills.
Remedy says it will check out misspelled names, whether or not the right codes were used, even establishing if you are being charged for procedures that weren’t necessary.
Once the examination is complete, the company will then tell you if there are any problems. The firm reveals that errors are found in 60% of the bills they look at, and that they do not share medical information.
You’re charged 20% of the amount saved, with the maximum capped at $99.
