FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — The Golden State ranks 33rd in the nation, when it comes to the best and worst states for children’s health care.
A new WalletHub report determines the caliber of care on 28 key metrics.
California ranks dead last when looking at the percentage of children in excellent or very good health, and near the bottom when it comes to oral health.
The state also scores low when it comes to preventative care for children.
However, California ranks 4th when it comes to the infant death rate.
Vermont has the best overall children’s health care ranking, while Nevada, according to WalletHub, has the worst.
