Fresno and Clovis Police held a joint press conference to announce multiple arrests in a string of robberies.
Since June 2016, 14 robberies and a hot prowl burglary have occurred between Fresno and Clovis allegedly by the same string of suspects. The police departments announced on Tuesday that 3 of the 4 suspects have been arrested.

They allegedly targeted 21 victims – who were small business owners, mainly of Asian descent and mainly women. The victims were cheated out of more than $23,000 worth of cash and property. 22 search warrants were executed in the investigation.
The robbers would target the victims at their businesses – mostly along the Kings Canyon corridor – casing them and then following them home to rip them off.
Here’s a breakdown of the cases:
- Two cases were home invasions
Included charges: assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping while armed, robbery while armed, and carjacking.
Suspects were armed in these robberies and handcuffed the victims.
Victims were jewelry store owners. - One case was a robbery / kidnapping
Included charges: Kidnapping while armed, robbery, possession of a firearm during a robbery.
Suspects were armed in this robbery and handcuffed the victim.
Victim was a business owner. - Four cases were armed robberies
Included charges: robbery while armed and robbery
Suspects were armed with handguns.
Victims were attacked in the driveways of their homes. - Six cases were strong armed robberies
Included charges of robbery
Suspects forced the victims to the ground and took their purses.

25-year-old Christopher Daniels is still on the loose. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Fresno Police.
