FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Fresno State announced Monday that new football coach Jeff Tedford has opted to not keep any of the assistants on the 2016 staff, that went 1-11. That means that the school will not retain Eric Kiesau who was the school’s Offensive Coordinator – and served as the interim Head Coach after Tim DeRuyter was fired. Tedford and Kiesau previously worked together at Cal.
The school says a nationwide search is underway for a new staff, and it anticipates to make new hires beginning in early December. Here’s the official release from the school, posted to the athletic department Twitter account:
