EL SEGUNDO (KMJ) — Police in southern California have arrested a man who has allegedly been victimizing locals with an air horn.
Early Sunday morning El Segundo Police say their Officers heard an extremely loud air-horn sound on the west side of the city.
It came after numerous similar reports over several weeks, which also involved a blue compact vehicle. Shortly after hearing the noise, the Officers reported that they had stopped a car matching that description.
Several residents responded to the scene, and performed a citizen’s arrest on the suspect John W. Nuggent. He was taken to El Segundo jail and the vehicle itself, which was described as containing air-horn equipment, was impounded.
