Survey: Clinton Supporters Have Harder Time Respecting Trump Voters

FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — When it comes to respecting the supporters of the opposite candidate, Clinton backers appear to have a more difficult time.

According to a new Pew Research Center survey, 56 percent of those voting for Trump, say they have no trouble respecting those supporting the Democrat.

However, 58 percent of those seeking a Clinton presidency, say they have a hard time being respectful of Trump supporters.

The percentages vary by gender, age, and education levels.

Meanwhile, about 62 percent of voters overall, according to Pew Research, say Trump has been too critical of his opponent, which is the highest percentage of any presidential candidate.
