FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Over the last 20 tears, the obesity problem has grown significantly in the U.S.,leading some experts to believe that “fat” be the new norm, as more than 3 quarters of adults are classified by the feds as “overweight” or “obese.”
A new report by WalletHub shows were the problem is most evident.
Mississippi and Louisiana are home to the largest percentages of overweight Americans.
Utah and Colorado, meanwhile, have the lowest percentages.
The Golden State is number 44 on the list of obese states.
In addition to obesity rates, WalletHub also factored in cholesterol figures, heart disease data, eating habits, and blood pressure readings.
