FRESNO (KMJ) — A vision to create a world class museum in the City of Fresno needs your help to make it happen.
The MOMS Club of Fresno North wants your help to bring local attraction ‘The Discovery Center’ back to life. Their idea stems from the group’s members wanting to find an educational means of keeping their kids occupied.
“We went down The Discovery Center and they have a fabulous museum and outdoor space with a lot of potential”, says President of the MOMS Club Fresno North Anna Mcmurry.
“After a couple of meetings with them we decided that we wanted to help them renovate and update the space”.
The group have commissioned exhibit The Portico Group to design the new look, and are asking for financial assistance to see it through.
“Right now it’s a pretty basic museum, there are a lot of hands on things for the kids to do. But we’re looking to bring more interactive exhibits”.
