FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — According to Gallup, 54 percent of Americans feel the federal government is doing too many things, which should be left to citizens and private businesses.
About 41 percent believe the government needs to do more, to solve the issues of the day.
Pollsters say these results have changed little over the past 25 years, with only two major exceptions: Bill Clinton’s first campaign in the early 90s, and immediately after the Sept. 11 attacks.
