(KMJ) – A concert will be held tonight for a local boy in need.
Just a month ago 11-year-old Aidan Nelson was active in plenty of sports – baseball, basketball, football and track. But after feeling pain in his back one day, his mother got him checked out. Eventually, a tumor was discovered in Aidan’s back. More recently, he’s been diagnosed with Diffuse Midline Glioma. He’s also been given a terminal sentence – just six months to live. And Aidan’s condition has changed drastically – he can no longer feel anything from the neck down.
Friday night, (9/30), friends of the family are holding an all-ages benefit concert help raise money for Aidan and his family in this difficult time. “Rock for Aidan” will be held from 7-830pm at Encounter Church in Clovis (2171 Villa Avenue).
