FRESNO (KMJ) — The person representing a man described as a “sexually violent predator” by the Fresno County District Attorney’s office says he can’t be locked up forever.
The decision announced in August to place Jeffrey Snyder in a Northwest Fresno home was met with fierce opposition by local residents (you can read more about that clicking here).
A hearing held Tuesday morning established that a new location to move the 61 year old to had to be found.
“I understand public outcry”, says his attorney Curtis Sok. “He understands too. He’s fully aware of that. He understands that…he’s hurt many people as he was victimized [when he was a child]”.
Another hearing will take place in November, to find out whether or not a new place to house him has been found.
