(KMJ) The Fresno Co. Sheriffs Department says a 16 year old Coalinga girl died while in custody at the Juvenile Justice Campus over the weekend.
Authorities say Bryana Terriquez was experiencing an unknown medical issue on Saturday. She was taken from the detention center to CRMC where she was pronounced dead.
Her cause of death might not be known for weeks, until toxicology tests are returned.
Terriquez had been arrested on a probation violation.
