FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Governor Jerry Brown and California lawmakers have come to an agreement, on a spending plan for the upcoming fiscal year.

The more than $122 billion pact includes $3.7 billion for preschool and child care programs, and an optional $2 billion for the state’s rainy-day reserve.

There’ll also be $270 million for new jail construction, and a $400 million compromise for affordable housing.
