FRESNO (KMJ) – The Kingsburg Swedish Festival celebrates it’s 50th Anniversary with music, dancers, and lots of tasty Swedish food -even something new.
Adam Castaneda, the Director of the Kingsburg Chamber of Commerce, says there is a new teen mobile skate park and a competition both Friday and Saturday night to attract the teen generation.
Tradition abounds, from raising the Maypole, to parade and the crowning of the Swedish Festival Queen, even the Viking race.
On this, the Festival’s 50th anniversary, the Kingsburg Chamber will be honoring some married couples who are also hitting their 50th wedding anniversary.
