FRESNO (KMJ) — A tour of pink emergency vehicles is taking place in the valley – as a part of the ‘Pink Heals’ campaign.
The brand is to validate a cause, to use their name to help raise money for local efforts. They’re undertaking a national tour to highlight what they do, described as a delivery system for donations.
“So you do a ‘Pink Heals’ fundraiser for whatever charity or whatever initiative in your community”, says founder Dave Graybell.
“Our truck shows up, we give you the artwork to create your own fundraiser, you cut a check to the charity you want, we deliver it in a pink fire truck with lights and sirens.
“So we’re the new Brinks truck of charity”.
The plan is to be in the valley until the end of the week, before heading to Oxnard, then working their way back to their base in Phoenix.
