Two Arrested In Fresno Convenience Store Armed Robbery

7-11 SUSPECTS

(KMJ) – Detectives with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office arrest two men they say are responsible for an armed robbery at a 7-Eleven store early Monday morning.

Deputies were called to the store, located at 385 West Shaw after getting reports of an armed robbery.  Security footage showed two men wearing mask and carrying handguns enter the store.  They then rob and pistol whip the clerk and then fled the scene in a dark colored car.

Thanks to that footage, Sheriff’s Detectives were able to identify the suspects as 19-year old Adrian Estrada and 21-year old Rene Santana.  On Tuesday, March 22nd, detectives located Estrada at a home on the 1500 block of North Brooks in Fresno. And, on Wednesday, March 23rd, detectives found Santana at a home on the 5500 block of North Dickenson in Fresno. Both men were arrested without incident.

Each man now faces a felony charge of robbery.  And Detectives add Santana also faces felony charges of making criminal threats and committing a felony while on bail.
