The Triple-A champs have announced a special tribute night to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the hit comedy flim, “The Three Amigos!”
In honor of stars Steve Martin, Chevy Chase and Martin Short, the Grizzlies will don mariaiachi-themed uniforms for the game on Friday, July 22nd. The jerseys will ten be auctioned off following the game, and fans can bid on the jersey of their favorite player. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit Centro La Familia Advocacy Services.
AND — Fans should also be sure to stay in their seats during the 7th inning stretch for a special rendition of My Little Buttercup in the spirit of the legendary performance in the Mexican Cantina by the Three Amigos.
