Reward Increased To Find Killer Of Two Fresno Teenagers

(KMJ) Fresno – Reward money is being increased as the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office tries to find those responsible for a shooting at a party near Easton that left two teenagers dead.

At 11:40 pm on January 29th, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office dispatch center received a 911 call of shots fired at a home on the 7200 block of Orange Avenue.

A large party was taking place at this location and there were 100 to 125 guests in attendance.

A disturbance broke out and shots were fired.

19 year-old Kayla DeBorde of Fresno and 17 year-old William Harris of Fresno were struck by bullets and killed.

A third person who was shot went to the hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies arrived on scene and detained several people for questioning.

No arrests have been made, and Valley Crime Stoppers is trying to change that by increasing the reward in the case to $3,000.

Detectives are asking the public for help in obtaining video and pictures taken at the party on the night of the homicides.

This marks the 7th and 8th homicides of the year in Fresno County.

There have been a total of four double homicides in 2016, while there were a total of nine homicides in Fresno County in 2015.
