Valley Church Hoping for Miracle in Annual Toy Drive

(KMJ) – Time in Destiny Christian Center in Sanger is hoping for a Christmas Miracle.

Every year, the church provides toys for hundreds of families in Sanger along with a warm meal, a boxed meal to go. It even raffles off bikes.

This year, the church had been counting on a bigger allotment from other area toy drives.  When it realized it was short, the church decided to pitch in about $1,600 dollars to buy some of the toys at wholesale in Southern California.

On the way back, two pallets were swept off its truck and onto the Grapevine.

Now, Time in Destiny is hoping the community will help it overcome this hurdle.  It is holding its toy drive nightly, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. at the parking lot on Bethel and Jensen in Sanger.

Any toys collected will be donated to families at the annual Christmas celebration on December 19th at the Sanger Community Center.

To coordinate donations, you can also reach Pastors Paul Zavala at 559-281-5501 or Roxanne Zavala at 559-708-2552.
