The fourth person who died in the Skylife helicopter crash has now been identified.
40 year-old Katherine Brown was being transported to San Joaquin Community Hospital in Bakersfield, when the aircraft went down halfway through the 20 minute flight.
Brown and the three crew members – the pilot, critical-care nurse, and flight paramedic were all flying in bad weather when they lost contact with the dispatch – shortly before the helicopter went down in an isolated area of Kern County.
The NTSB is investigating the crash.
