(KMJ) – An attempted robbery at a Fresno business lands one man behind bars.
Fresno Police say officers were called to the Cali-Beats Auto Stereo store at H Street and Palm Avenue just after 3 p.m. Sunday. There, a person called 9-1-1 after seeing a man in a hoodie and armed with a handgun enter the business.
When officers arrived, they say 34-year old Jesus Perez tried to leave the business. But, after spotting the officer, they say he ran back inside.
After a few minutes, officers say Perez tried to make a run for it again but was taken into Police custody.
He was booked into the Fresno County Jail and charged with armed robbery.
