FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — Setting the clocks back an hour can disturb sleep patterns, which, combined with the earlier dusk and a dark evening commute, can lead to drowsy driving.

According to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, drowsy drivers are involved in 21% of fatal collisions.

The Automobile Club of Southern California urges you to get adequate rest, and be prepared for changing conditions, such as reduced visibility.
