(KMJ) – Fresno Police were called to a home near Blackstone and Escalon around 1:20 p.m. Sunday. There, they say a father shot and killed his own son.
Officers were initially called out to a report of family disturbance. But after they arrived, they found a 39-year old Tom Yue shot multiple times. He later died from his wounds.
While at the scene, officers say the 72-year old Father, Samuel Yue, came out of the home at the location. He admitted to officers to being involved in the shooting and was immediately taken into custody. However the motive for the shooting is still under investigation.
Officers also said the victim’s 9-month pregnant wife was in the house at the time of the shooting. She was so distraught, she was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center alongside her now deceased husband. She has since gone into labor.
