The CEO of the Community Regional Medical Centers, Tim Joslin is facing potential felony domestic violence charges.
The hospital’s board of trustees says in a press release that the hospital will wait to see what the investigation reveals:
“The alleged domestic incident seems very out-of-character for Mr. Joslin. Domestic violence is a serious matter, of course. But in this case, it appears the facts are much in dispute. Community’s Board of Trustees will respect the justice system, and we will wait to see what the investigation ultimately reveals and what charges, if any, are pursued.” – Community Medical Centers’ Board chair, Florence Dunn.
According to police, the 41-year-old victim reported Joslin hit her on the head with an i-Phone as she tried to break up with him on August 24th.
His attorney claims the incident stems from an extortion attempt.
Clovis Police says the case remains under investigation.
“Clovis hereby objects to the release of information based on the Official Information Privilege (Gov. Code, 1040). This case remains under investigation at the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office pending review, and any testimony related to the case or disclosure of documents would be against public interest, and could endanger the completion of an ongoing investigation.” – Janet Stoll-Lee, Public Information Officer, Clovis Police Department.
The Fresno County District Attorney’s Office has not filed charges, yet.
