BURGLAR ARREST

(KMJ) – A Fresno homeowner’s security system helps catch a burglar in the act.

Fresno Police responded to a burglar alarm on Wednesday just from 11 a.m. in the 4000 block of North Tollhouse.  There, the homeowner was able to give officers a description of the man her security system photographed breaking into her garage.

Based on those pictures, officers were able to track down 36-year old Juan Carlos Marquez as he was riding a bicycle in the area.  As it turns out, the bike he was riding belonged to the homeowner who just reported the burglary.

Officers arrested Marquez after he admitted to taking the bike.  He was booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of burglary, receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools.
