Man Sought for Easton Bank Robbery

(KMJ) – The search continues for a man who robbed a bank in Easton. The Fresno County Sheriff’s Department says the suspect walked into the WestAmerica Bank branch on South Elm Avenue around 9:30 Tuesday morning.

Detectives say he was holding a handgun when he handed a teller a note demanding money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and then fled the bank.

The suspect is described as: Black or Hispanic, 35 – 45 years old, 5’7″, 180 lbs. He was wearing a long-sleeve plaid shirt, dark colored jeans, a tan beret (Kangol) hat and had black square-shaped eye glasses. He was last seen traveling westbound on W. Fantz Ave. in a white 4-door car, possibly a Chevy Sonic or Cruze.
