Lunchtime Robber Stabs Victim In Hanford

Hanford police are looking for a robber who struck during lunchtime, Tuesday, September 22nd.

Hanford police officers responded to the alleyway near Fifth and Douty Streets. where a man told officers he was returning to work around 12:45, and was approached by a Hispanic man holding a knife in the alley.

He handed it over – and was then stabbed by the robber – luckily the tip hit his belt.

The robber ran off and the wallet was found later in the alley.

The suspect is described as a late 20’s to mid 30’s Hispanic male, 5’9 to 5’11 with a medium build, and wearing a black and blue tank top and a black hat.

Officers are Checking with nearby businesses for surveillance video of the crime.
