(KMJ) – The Madera County Sheriff’s Office will hosting another medication take-back event this weekend.
On Saturday anyone with unused prescription or over the counter medication can turn it in for disposal.
Sheriff Jay Varney says events like this help keep chemicals out of landfills and sewers.
There are two locations for drug drop offs this weekend. They are the Sheriff’s main office in Madera and the Department’s office in Oakhurst.
The disposal is free and takes place from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
