(KMJ) – On Monday afternoon, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and fire officials made a collaborative decision to lift all of the remaining evacuation orders associated with the Rough Fire.
This decision includes the Hume Lake area. But, the areas being reopened are only accessible to residents and not the general public.
Several road closures do remain in place due to the blaze. They are:
– Highway 180 at Highway 245
– Millwood Road, north of Highway 180
– Highway 198 at Grant Grove
– Highway 198 at Quail Flat
– Highway 198 at U.S. Forest Service Road 14S11
The Rough Fire has now charred more than 142,000 acres and is 70% contained.
