A final ruling has come down in the fight between Gerawan Farming and the United Farm Workers Union.
It was nearly two years ago when workers with the Reedly-based Gerawan Farming voted to split from the UFW.
Since then – a back and forth fight in court.
There was an appeal in May – when a panel at the 5th District Court of Appeals accepted Gerawan Farming’s argument.
Now, a judge has ruled against Gerawan and its effort to drop it’s affiliation with the UFW.
Gerawan can still appeal to the Agriculture Labor Relations Board to overturn this decision.
