(KMJ) Things are looking up for Pete Dern.
The Fresno Fire Captain was transitioned to the Leon S. Peters Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday after spending 150 days in the burn center.
Dern, who was severely injured while fighting an arson fire has undergone more than 20 surgeries. The incident, in which he fell through a collapsing roof, was caught on video and topped national headlines.

His next transition will be from rehab — to home — in the coming weeks.
