The Merced Police Department seeks the public’s help in its investigation into a suspicious death.
Just before 9 PM Thursday, officers responded to a residence in the 2000 Block of El Portal Drive for a suspicious circumstance report.
There they found a male adult (49 years old) dead inside the residence. Officers say the man had a gunshot wound in the upper torso area.
