FRESNO, Calif. (KMJ) — A number of resources are being used to find a Fowler man who has reportedly been missing for almost a month.

Fresno County Sheriff’s Detectives are actively searching for 46-year-old Fernando Subia who went missing Dec. 9.

Joining in on the search effort is Rocky Pipkin of the Pipkin Detective Agency and tells KMJ, Subia’s disappearance is very suspicious.

“There are some unusual circumstances that I cannot comment on at this time, that we do know for a fact, but it’s confidential at this point,” Pipkin said.

Pipkin said he was contacted by Subia’s wife two weeks ago and said in his experience there could be a number of reasons why Subia, a father of four, has not contacted his family.

“In reality…as more time goes by, and we have no explanation of where he’s at or what happened to him, it always tends to cause you to believe that there may be foul play involved,” Pipkin said.

Authorities say Subia is 5 feet, eight inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds and is an employee at the Harris Ranch Beef packing plant in Selma.

Subia’s family has now put together a $5,000 reward for anyone with information leading to his whereabouts.

If you have information on this case, you’re asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 600-3111 or Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
