(KMJ) – City crews in San Francisco worked to clean up red paint splashed onto the Christopher Columbus statute that stands near Coit Tower.
The vandalism was discovered Sunday and included graffiti painted across the base of the statue that read,” Destroy all monuments of genocide and kill all colonizers.”
Now San Francisco Police have confirmed they are investigating this as an act of vandalism.
