Clovis Boy Inspires by Donating Long Hair to Charity

FRESNO, CA (KMJ)  A young Clovis boy is hoping his selfless act will inspire others to give back.

Tre Cluff is a 5th grader at Cole Elementary.  He’s a kid you could easily pick out of a crowd due to his long, blonde, surfer-like locks.  Not anymore.

Going back to school was a different experience this week when he decided to get a haircut – for charity.

More than a foot of hair was shaved off by his dad, local filmmaker Travis Cluff, who recorded the not-so-easy process.  Now, the video has gone viral on social media.

So where is all that hair going? Tre is donating it to Wigs for Kids, a national non-profit that helps children who lose their hair due to medical conditions or burn injuries.
