FRESNO (KMJ) — A man discovered wearing a jail jumpsuit, as he was walking in front of Fresno County Jail, is now behind bars.
According to Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, Michael Rodriguez was seen walking towards the North Jail Annex in Downtown Fresno around 4pm Thursday, with the word ‘prisoner’ on the back of the jumpsuit.
Court deputies responded and detained him, and were told by the 35 year old that he had found the clothes in the trash and decided to put them on. After running his details, it was established that he is on active parole for once fleeing a peace officer during a pursuit.
Rodriguez is now inside Fresno County Jail – the jumpsuit he was wearing taken as evidence with another jumpsuit issued to him to wear behind bars.
