FRESNO, CA (KMJ) – Two hikers were missing in the Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park but some good news came Wednesday, November 2nd in one of the cases.
28 year old David Torres was one of those missing hikers.
He last made contact by GPS at Southfork Crossing on October 28th with plans to hike the Pacific Crest Trail.
The Park Service sent a tweet asking other hikers for assistance spotting him.
Then the news came in – half past the noon hour on Wednesday.
“There’s good news it looks like ah, its been confirmed, we have located him and he’s all good.” – Zach Behrens, Spokesperson Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park.
A happy ending for Torres.
Now, hopes are that the other hiker – Robert ‘Bob’ Woodie – who was last heard of on October 15th….turns up.
