Ongoing Support For Injured Fresno Correctional Officers

FRESNO (KMJ) – Ongoing support in Fresno for two injured correction officers.

Meals and donations are being accepted for the two wounded Fresno County Correctional Officers; Davila and Scanlan.

CO Victor Prado has details of the collections going on at Community Regional Medical Center by Terry’s House.

“You can ask: ‘Who can I coordinate for meals?’ If you want to bring hot meals, non-perishables, great, drop them off, we appreciate all that. but if you plan on actually donating hot meals, full dinners, full lunches, stuff like that – please coordinate with our staff out there because we have an ongoing calendar for long-term service.” – CO Victor Prado.

A BBQ fundraiser is being held Thursday, September 15th by the Fresno Sheriffs Correctional Sergeants Association from 8:00 to 4:00 at the North Annex Jail Parking lot at Fresno and L Street.

A GoFundMe account is now open for any other monetary donations for both officers and their families.
