DUI Hit/Run Suspect Arrested After Nearly 20-Mile Police Chase

A suspect who led Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies on a nearly 20-mile pursuit is behind bars.

26-year-old Marcos Larios was allegedly weaving all over the roadway on SB 41 early just before 1am Tuesday morning when a Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull him over.  Larios allegedly took off, merging onto EB 180, before exiting onto Clovis Avenue.  That’s where he allegedly struck a vehicle near the intersection of Clovis and Kings Canyon.

Larios allegedly took off west after the collision, heading to Golden State where he got onto NB 99.  That’s where deputies were able to stop his vehicle, and he surrendered.

Larios tested a blood alcohol content level of .27 which is more than three times the legal limit.  He faces a felony charge of evading a peace officer and misdemeanour DUI and hit and run charges.  He is being held on $61,000.
