JORDAN CENTER

FRESNO (KMJ) – Fresno State celebrates the opening of the new Jordan AG Research Center.

“I think it’s a bold move, it’s been in the works for a long time, it’s going to move the college and the university for that matter well ahead of others in terms of being on the cutting edge of agricultural research.” – Sandra Witte, Dean, Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences & Technology.

The 30,000-square-foot center is a one of a kind space with 3 floors of dry and wet research laboratories, workspaces and meeting rooms.

Faculty and students will be able to to conduct advanced studies on agriculture, food and water.

The project was made possible by a $29.4 million dollar gift from the Jordan family— back in 2009.
