(KMJ) -Surveillance video helps capture two women suspected of stealing packages from a Clovis neighborhood.
Clovis Police responded to a call in the 1100 block of Sierra Avenue on Wednesday for a theft of packages from a front porch. The victim’s surveillance cameras captured what appeared to be two white female adults and a maroon-colored Mercury Milan with significant front end damage.
Thursday, officers saw this same vehicle southbound on Sunnyside from Jefferson and again northbound on Cole from Shaw. That’s when Clovis Police officers stopped the car and arrested 32-year-old Michelle Beintker and 30-year-old Crystal Giglio.
Both women were arrested for probation violations and conspiracy to commit mail theft. They were booked at the Clovis Police Department before being transported to the Fresno County Jail.
In addition, Beintker and Giglio may also face federal charges for mail theft.
