(KMJ) On May 7th, a burglary occurred at a home in the area of Shaw and Fruit Avenues in Fresno. The suspect(s) took three olive green colored, military ammunition boxes. Each box contained many rare, valuable coins from the late 1800s and early 1900s.
Some of the coins in plastic tubes included: Morgan Silver Dollars, Standing Liberty Quarters, Indian Head Pennies and Flying Eagle Pennies. The owner estimates the entire collection to be worth $50,000.
During the course of the investigation, Sheriff’s detectives identified two persons of interest. They are 31-year-old Eric Davidson and 36-year-old Jennifer Herring.
Herring may be driving a white 1999 Toyota 4-door car with a CA license plate of 6VEA758. Both people have active arrest warrants for other unrelated crimes.
